I'm really looking forward to “Drinking St George's Hall” on 27th July (11-4pm). It's an event at St George’s Hall celebrating Bradford’s live music heritage, from Rock and Roll to Bhangra and Bassline. This unique installation captures the city's musical legacy through sound, set, and a locally crafted live drink with flavors inspired by these rich stories.
This project, which pushes me deliciously out of my comfort zone, involves sampling, synthesizers, and 'found sounds' - creating an immersive soundscape that blends music, conversation, and interviews with live sound-art collaborations. The experience is enhanced by the amplified sounds of a bubbling, live-fermenting drink.
Presented by Edible Archives, known for their multisensory experiences, this event explores heritage through food, drink, art, and words.
