Songwriting
I’m a songwriter and lyricist specialising in story-led work for theatre, film and creative projects.
I regularly write to brief, working across styles including pop, rock, musical theatre, EDM and country. Whether you need something that sits comfortably alongside existing material or a song that defines the tone of a piece, I can adapt to the sound you’re aiming for.
I’m as happy developing ideas collaboratively as I am taking a concept and running with it — always with a focus on clear storytelling, character, and songs that earn their place.
You can explore examples of my work below.
I also co-host Troubadour,, a semi-regular songwriter night in Leeds and Shipley, where new work gets put in front of an audience. More on that here.
If you’ve got a project in mind, feel free to get in touch.

Troubadour: How to Get Involved
If you’re an original songwriter and would like to take part in a future Troubadour, we’d love to hear from you.
The nights are designed as a supportive, low-pressure space to share songs alongside other committed writers — without any expectation to bring a crowd. Over time, we aim to build an audience through consistently strong, thoughtful line-ups and a welcoming atmosphere.
Each showcase typically features four artists playing short acoustic sets, with space between performances for conversation, coffee, and the gentle exchange of musical ideas. It’s a curated evening rather than an open mic, with performers booked in advance and encouraged to recommend other writers they admire.
We’re especially keen to create a loose, connected community of artists who support one another’s work — helping the series grow through shared enthusiasm rather than hard promotion.
To express interest, please get in touch with:

A short message with a link to your music and a brief introduction is perfect — no lengthy applications or press packs required.
We programme each night carefully to balance styles, experience levels, and line-up flow, so replies may not always be immediate. Please don’t take that as a lack of interest — it’s simply part of keeping the nights thoughtful and sustainable.
With free entry, venue-supported sound, and an emphasis on good songs in good rooms, the focus is always on creating something that feels generous, enjoyable, and worth returning to — for artists and audiences alike.
